I am trying to figure out an estimate of Yahoo! stock price but taking into account the splits. What's the best way to figure that out?

It is a Wachovia CAP Brokerage Account that has a value of $22,920 but the Securities Market Value is $68,881...in other words I have borrowed about $46,000 from the account (this includes interest of course).

I really made a mistake in dropping 50 grand into this about 8 years ago and have a number of other retirement money resources set-up for me now.

I guess what I'm saying is I would very happily rather have the amont I owe in margin loans be partially paid by the account value - and then just make payments on the remaining balance...can this be done?

I would like to close this account down - What are the options typically in this situation?

Does anyone know if foreigners can open up UK bank accounts? I do a lot of business in the UK and travel there regualrly. If I transfer the money from my home bank account, the transfer fees are sometimes higher than the bills I'm paying so I would like to be able to pay them from a UK internet bank. I don't need high interest accounts, debit cards or a checkbook, just an internet bank account.

My boss is currently not taking taxes from my checks. He said he will do this for 3 months...How is this going to affect me with taxes at the end of the year???
