working people who have familys and dont get enough income are intitled to working family tax credits. Unemployed people are intitled to job seekers allowance which comes in 2 varietys income based an national insurance controbution, you will get NI jobseekers if you have just come out of work for a maximum of 14 weeks this then changed to income based, where they will take a look at any other benifits you are getting and work out your benefit that way.
Have a look at the department of works and pensions web site for more information.

Sounds like you are thinking making a career out of being unemployed, and why not?
If we can attract Americans for this reason why not you.
Let's bankrupt the whole ***** country then Three Jags might have to be satisfied with two. With a pension of course.
I think there is a plan to dump the world's riff raff here then blow us up along with all the imported polluting waste.
For **** sake do it now.
I'm fed up with it all.

If you dont work you get jobseekers allowance, if you do work you can get tax credits.
But according to your circumstances you could get other benefits
