I am spearheading an expo in my city next year featuring storm/waste water companies. I'm looking for marketing ideas for name placement. We are a small company so large things like door hangers and website default pages are already snapped up. I am new to this sort of thing, so any advice/experience/options you have I'd love to hear!

Direct mailing postcards -- cheaper than direct mail and gets your message across immediately (recipient does not need to open an envelope). Send a postcard about the expo to potential attendees

Car advertising -- post the URL or name of your expo in your cars as well as your colleagues.

Radio ad -- this is very effective in advertising expos. Contact your local radio station and ask for quotes on advertising

Flyers -- post flyers in public places where allowed in your city.

Networking -- join networking groups or professional associations in your area (preferably those where your potential attendees are going) and hand out your business card or brochure about the expo to other members

Do what the person above suggested .... and use this site to get the lettering you need:

http://www.custom-vinyl-lettering.net

They are the best. So easy to use with so many options. And they are cheap ... basically you are cutting out the middle man so you're not spending hundreds for someone else to design it and apply it.

They saved me hundreds!!!

Best of luck with your event!!
