3. It's been a very busy day, and you have just gotten a customer complaint. This is the third time today that this same customer has complained to an employee about the same problem. However, it's the first time that you have spoken with her. Your best course of action is to:
a. Apologize to the customer and ask how you can help fix the problem.
b. Apologize to the customer and ask if she would like to speak to a supervisor.
c. Ask the customer to wait and ask the employee who last dealt with the customer to speak to her.
d. Ask the customer to wait and ask the employee who last dealt with the customer why the problem was not fixed.

Due to an unforeseen change in circumstances (my partner's illness), I had to quit my job and although I now work part time I will be , quite literally, left with £20 at the end of the month for us both to live on if I continue with my loan repayments to my bank. What can I do, since the bank, unsurprisingly, has been incredibly unsympathetic to my circumstances so far?

I am trying to sell some stock of symbol bydc. I bought it for 68 cents and it filed for section 8 so I thought I lost all my money. The stock is listed as otc and not nyse or nasdaq anymore. I am with etrade and I am not sure how to sell it. I get a message saying I cannot sell now when I try to sell it. Does etrade not support otc stocks trading? Please help.

I opened a credit card account 7 months ago and I realized that I don't need it any more. I am a college student and right now i have 3 credit cards. I do spend money moderately and I do pay my cards off on time. Since I I just started my credit history is ok to cancel my second or third card or should I just keep them open. I realized that I dont need three credit cards. How would it affect my credit score?

I just moved out of a home that I rented out in Royal Oak, MI
She is a "friend of a friend". When I moved in she promised me repeatedly to paint the walls, and move a couple of furniture pieces to th basement remove, her clothing from the closets. She never did any of it and her reason is that "it wasn't written in the lease". I emptied the closets and put everything into boxes when I moved in. On top of it, the walls were full of nail holes, the bathroom closet door was broken and the mirror on it was cracked. The shower drain was clogged, and the drain didn't work properly, the house smelled like cat urine, and I found cat poop in the basement, the toilet and washing machine leaked because the were about 25 years old and because of it, my water bill came out to $200- even though my usual water usage is $50. She won't give me security deposit back even though the home is in better condition than when I moved in.Does the home owner need to qualify or something before renting out?

We own a duplex in California. We live in one part and rent about 1/3 of the property as a separate apt. On our federal taxes return, we take 1/3 of our property taxes and mortgage interest as rental expenses, and the remaining 2/3 as Schedule A deductions off our regular income. It is my understanding that this is the ordinary way of assigning these expenses and deductions.

With the expenses in Calif of mortgage interest and property taxes, we are showing a net loss on the rental income. However, as our adjusted gross income is over $150,000 we cannot take this passive loss against other non-passive income sources, so it is carried forward until we have a profit we can subtract it from.

My question is: can I take the entire mortgage interest and prop tax payments as personal income deductions, rather than rental expenses? That way I will see some immediate reduction in my taxes, versus some future tax reduction for my rental profits.

Is this “legal,” or even sensible?

This is what I have been able to come up with so far:

(I have 1 year of making my auto loan payments on time.)

1)Take $500 to a bank and establish a security deposit account to obtain a secured credit card.

2) Repeat this at another bank.

3) Use both credit cards but never charge more than a maximum balance of 20% of the total credit card limit.

4) Pay more than the minimum credit card payment on a bi-weekly basis.

5) Go to my bank and take out a CD for $2,000 that pays interest.

6)Get a secured loan for $1,000 against the CD and pay it off in a year on time.
