have tried to contact them, to no avail

tried to call them - put through to press office, who didn't know; put through to customer relations, who didn't know, and were only interested in selling products; put through to head office, who said it was 'make it happen', but when pointed out this was a strap and and not an MS, put through to local branch, who said 'we can't give out company information'...

Nat West is owned by Royal Bank Of Scotland (RBS). I suspect RBS will have a mission statement, but Nat West will not. Nat West will be expected to follow all RBS policies - including the mission statement.

Why do you want to know anyway? It'll be some amoral meaningless BS dreamed up by 19 yr old spotty management consultants for £3 mil.

I'm really sorry, but I have just spent 15 minutes searching and searching for you to no avail. I've tried their website, old versions of their website, newspaper archives, stock archives...nothing!!

Its really peculiar I must admit. The only thing I can suggest is to go into your local branch - somebody there will know. They *must* know.

Sorry and good luck!!

EDIT: Ah! Just realised, Companies House in Swansea have all of this sort of stuff on file - accounts, business plans etc - its probably worth contacting them. You should be able to get all of last years filed documents for a couple of quid and a postage stamp! Hope that helps!

The link below gives you their annual accounts for 1999, but the document is 142 pages long so I have not searched through the whole thing, but it may be in there somewhere.

Good luck

Have you tried the website - specifically the marketing department? There should be info on their mission statement there, or they should send you info.
