I looked on thier website but could not find anything abou it. I tried to call but could not get a real person. Anyone ever use these before. I thought you just had to match the signature on them.

I did not steal these. I am on vacation here and lost my ID. I have no cash and I bought these travelers cheques to be safe. I just soke to American Express and they told me that I do not need ID if I am using them at a merchant. I just have to countersign them against my original signature. I only need ID if I am want to cash them at a bank, which I am not. I just want to be able to eat.

Unfortunately you do. Nowadays, retailers are getting more picky because of thef idenitity.

No, you will need ID to cash those checks. Sorry about all the time you spent practicing the signature. LOL

Yes, otherwise any thief could run around spending stolen checks. Merchants have the right to protect themselves against fraud.
