Besides most commercial banks where can I go to exchange foreign currency? I traveled to Niagara Falls, Canada in 2005. On the way out of the country I had an impaitent bus driver who would not allow me to stop off at the Duty Free shop to exchange the currency. So I came home with just under $20 in Canadian Currency. I've held onto this money since last year. Every commercial bank I've called require you to be a customer. My credit union doesn't accept foreign currency for deposits. So I feel like I'm stuck with this money I can't use. If I knew someone going to Canada perhaps I could offer to "sell" it to them but in lieu of that I don't what to do with this money.

Because my current contract is ending, I would consider lower paying jobs to avoid unemployment (depending on the benefits), but of course, I would prefer little to no paycut if possible. I have had people refuse to take "I am very willing to negotiate" as an answer because they want a concrete number, but I am afraid that giving my current salary may "scare off" some potential employers. What is the best way to address this?

My landlord informed us via mail that he has sold the house we rent from him to a real-estate company. They want to continue renting from us but I am worried they will raise the rent substaintially. If we can no longer afford to live here how much time do we have to move ?

My dad got this letter along with check for 4,800 us dollars. Its from U.S. Lotto promtions, and it sayed to call a number and activate the check, so i did and it said to deposit the 48000 dollars into his account, is this too good to be true, is this a scam, has anyone else got a letter like this??

We recently purchased a craftmatic adjustable bed. We were talked into it. The cancelation days were 5 Bussiness days. We called on the 5th day but we didn't send the written cancelation until the 6th day. Now the company is saying we are stuck with it. Is there a way to get out of the contract???? Please help!!!!
