A higher level of skill is often the result of a good attitude.

The more skill you have about a job the more you know about that job. With the more you know employer's know they do not have to keep checking on you to see if it is going well or if the product is right or not.
Think of it like this you are the one that is hiring and someone come in with 1 year exp. and than someone else comes in with 5 years. NOW be honest which one are you going to hire? If you are just starting out do not late this get to you keep on trying to get that job or one like it.
I have work in a field for over 25 years now and I wanted to change company's and was told I had to much experience. But now that does not matter because I am disable now and can not work.
Just be glad you can while you can and get every skill you can out of it. Because it s--k starting college in your middle 40's because you have to since you can no longer do the type of work you used to.

i am going to say that it doesnt always matter the level of skill but alot of employers look at the skill because i could come in more handy than having to retrain another employee. but i have to say it doesnt always matter the level of skill if you can not work with some one who does not want to do their job.

if someone is very very good, and knows it, he/she's more likely to be in demand and therefore more selective about with whom he/she does business...

on the other had, someone who's not quite sure what they're doing or why, may be desparate to take on more work than they can do, ..and that opens another can of worms..
