My friend is leasing premises for her business which is up for renewal in two months. Her Landlord wants to increase her rent by 100%. What should she do? She is happy to increase by 20% is this about right?

I just found out that my paycheck is being garnished. The only thing is I am 18 and a student, I don't have any loans, credit cards or anything. I was never served with court papers to appear in court and I was never given a notice of garnishment. What can I do to get this cleared up?

In several days I have a job interview and so far I have had alot of interviews for permanent positions but no one hires me. How can I turn this around and make them decide to hire me? p.s. I am in my 40's, have worked but only part time now during the school year, earned an AA, AS, and BA degree, have transportation, and no kids to interfere with working. My eyes are extremely weak. I can't even be allowed to get any surgery with my weakness. Well, also, I am afraid of such options as well. I want to do something in my life. Earn high paid income. Do you have to pay for an item you are sent through the mail and didn't want? Can the company report you to the credit bureau if you don't pay?
