I have a fledgling cleaning business and am interested in learning the art of contract bidding.

Make your bids by square footage... you can even estimate the square footage of a prospect and send them your bid; however, it might FIRST be appropriate to ask if the company is pleased with their cleaning company. You will find many who are not pleased, and this is where you come in... make sure you find out why they were not pleased and base your bid upon what they want.
