I'm sending out nice marketing pieces in expensive folders within cardboard FedEx Paks and the FedEx handling process is making them arrive looking terrible (creating a bad impression instead of the good one I was willing to spend the $ on for FedEx in the first place). Anything I can place in the edge of the FedEx Sturdy Pak or around the folder I'm sending itself to ensure that it arrives to the recipient as good-looking as it was packaged? Any ideas? I appreciate it.

I am working my way through college writing fortunes to put in Chinese Fortune Cookies. It is the beginning of my junior year and I'm burned out!! I've written over 4 million fortunes in the past two years--NO TWO ALIKE! The owner--Willie Fu Chu--requires each one to be different!!

I'm bone dry! I'll never get to be a neuro-surgeon if I don't pick up production!! How many ways can you tell somebody to wait for an inheritance? Or expect love unexpectedly from a tall handsome whatever?? Or that your car engine may blow up next month and to rush to have it inspected??

I've even stooped to foretelling phases of the moon (frowned on by Willie as cheating), copying from Nostradamus (takes really small type to get on those silly tiny strips of paper), telling one number of the lottery, and telling people they will die for sure before the age of 165 (cheating, again, said Willie).

HELP ME BECOME A NEUROSURGEON. SUGGEST FORTUNES FOR ME TO USE!!!

I believe it is a hidden managerial conspiracy. If the best engineer is made a manager, the company, in some ways, loses the good engineering talent. Also, engineers are branded as geeks or nerds because of the propoganda by non-geeks and non-nerd ignorant idiots who couldn't survive if the smartest guys went into management.

What are your thoughts? I know engineers who are extremely good at their work, have great education, display great leadership, can look at the bigger picture, have excellent communication skills and good personality but they just do not get a chance to be considered for management.

What are they lacking?

I was recently hired, along with 5 other girls and 1 guy, as a Cashier at my local grocery store. During our Cashier training classes, I was really struggling for some reason. I couldn't grasp anything, i'd completely forget what the teacher had taught us, everything seemed so confusing, and I would do everthing wrong during demonstrations, etc, etc. On the other hand, all the other new hires were catching on quickly and were doing everything quite well. When time came for my first day of work, I just went completely blank, I forgot everything we were taught (or what little I could remember), and everything was just going completely wrong, while the new hires were doing fine and making little to no mistakes. I wasn't nervous or scared. Could I have a simple learning disablity????

Moving from CA to TX. Purchasing a new home that won't be available until 9-22. If I am required to be at new job 9-1, where do I live for the 22-30 days before my new home is ready? My wife works from home and will require a high speed internet connection during that time. Also have two kids (5&8). If renting an apartment is the answer, will utility companies waive the set-up fees on the second move? Trying to limit expenses...

Every Friday I bring sardines and egg-salad for lunch at work, and I microwave them both at the same time. My boss told me it is starting to stink the office to "high-heaven" when I prepare my meal, and to bring a different meal. I told him that I am entitled to whatever the "fudge" i can bring. Can I sue him for religious dscrimination, as he said "high heaven"
