We have 25 people in the office; occasionally someone will bring in a cake for a friend's or the bosses birthday; but it seems like some people are always left out. Going out to lunch is not an option- office is remote.
The company itself is too cheap to do anything - any suggestions?

I got behind on my car payment to Triad bank and they accepted that I would catch up on the 1st of the month. I still get calls from collectors twice a day or more telling me I have to pay it earlier. They tell me that "the system doesn't recognise a verbal agreement" and that they "autodialer can't be turned off". My god, I made a deal, they accepted it and they still harass me constantly. Today the guy told me I absolutely had to pay it two days earlier than our deal was set for. Can they legally harrass me like that? I'm guessing they can or they wouldn't be doing it it...

We booked as a group (2 couples) and don't want to go without the other couple. This was going to be a once in a lifetime holiday. We both have annual travel insurance policies. What are the chances of us getting our money back and what is the best way to approach the insurance company?

I have over 15 years of experience in bookkeeping/accounting, however I was laid off from my job over over a year ago and have not been able to land anything worthwhile. Due to my loyalty to my employer, I never felt the need to learn Qkbooks, Excel or any other comp. skill. Now, the few good paying jobs and even the not so good require these skills. I took a beg. course in Qkbks. but was not satisfied with the end results. I enrolled twice to take beg. Excel, but both times the class was canceled due to lack of enrollment. I can't afford to go to college to take a full course. So, what do I do. Am I not getting hired due to my age (56), or because I lack these skills although I have 15 years experience in accounting. Can someone give me an answer to help me solve my problem.

I filed a chapter 7 bankruptcy but did not put 2 credit cards that I had purchased clothes on it. Both cards totaled only about $300. They continued to charge me late fees and penalties during my bankruptcy. They eventually charged off the amounts and put them on my credit report as charge offs, but now I have collections agencies constantly calling 3 and 4 times a day trying to collect on these accounts. Could the credit card company charge me late fees while I was going through my bankruptcy? How can they charge off a debt and then still try to collect.

I entered a Motor Vehicle Sales Contract with a car dealer, I specify that the loan has to go to my credit union on the contract. When my credit union declined my loan, the car dealer said I am still obligate to purchase the car, because they have the right to assign my loan to any institutions they want as long as the interest rate dosen't exceed the contract rate. I don't agree with them because under the state law it's illegal to seek multiple agreements on the car loan. Any helps on this issue will be greatly appreciated. I am too poor to go further on this legal battle with the dealer.

More and more I am beggining to hate Walmart. My kids call it the unmentionable place. First, they are dirty (at least the ones in NC are). Second, they don't train their employees how to be polite. And third, they have lousy products. Oh, and their return policy-terrible. What do you think?
