and . . . for those of you who might be operating @ a higher level of intelligence concerning this subject is there any definate method of using / taking a certain %age from these initial savings and putting this to use with some kind of higher rate of return or interest . . . ?

My wife & I bought a house 1&1/2 yrs. ago. Since my credit rating was shot,the title only has her name on it (Bank too).
If God forbid she should die what would happen.( I live in Pennsylvania).
Is their something we can do now so I would not loose the house.
We have 1 child 8 yrs old.
P.S. I had just finished filing for bankrupcy (me only) should get discharge in a few weeks from now.

I'm a first time buyer AND i want to buy abroad, not in the UK. This makes things ten times more complicated! I have no idea where to start.... My sister-in-law's boss promised her a raise if she took and passed a med certification test. She did pass it and has had extra responsiblities since her date of certification. She and her boss were talking and she mentioned to her boss about the raise she was promised and her boss completely ignored her question. Now her boss is on vacation, but she doesn't know what to say to her when she comes back. What options does she have for getting the raise she was promised?

I didn't even tell her I was going to the Dr., she just assumed. She never assumes when other workers are sick that they are going to the Dr. I do not believe there is anything in the employee handbook about Doctor's Notes.
I hate my job anyways but I need it for now till I find somethings else...so in other words, I'm not gonna kiss my boss's *** just cause I don't have an excuse...I just want to be defiant because I am being singled out and I know of no policy regarding Doctor's excuses when sick.

i am 38 and earn a fairly good income over 20k per year what is the longest period i can get a mortgage over and my wife who is a housewife is 7 years younger than me can i use my earnings but her age to get a longer period of repayment as she may be still be working then if and when she returns to work as we have young children , is it also possible to use Child allowance and Tax Credit income to bump up figures for Mortgage purpose ?

My boss thinks that i make people quit. Because the last person that quit didnt come back to work the next day. The person that worked before him, she up and left because she wasnt going to get the hours on the day that she wanted(she wasnt scheduled for those hours.) I let the lady know i would fill in for whatever hours she wanted me too, but she didnt want that to happen. She was scheduled for 8:30 -Close, she wanted my hours 6:30-3. She had this appt. with a wedding consultant at 4pm that day.
I am sick of my boss accusing me of doing this. Does this classify as harrassment in the work place? Oh, another thing is one day we were talking about something and then she came up behind me and slapped my behind. I have these things recorded in a notebook. Because I am sick of her doing this stuff to me. She doesn't respect anyone. She thinks she can do anything and get away with it!
