Keep looking - jobs aren't always easy to find, especially if you're looking for something above minimum wage.
In the meantime, take a good look at your qualifications for the jobs you're applying for. If your education, background and experience match the qualifications needed, then maybe you just haven't hit the right company yet. Sometimes you can be qualified, but the interviewer happens to find someone with just a bit more background for the job, and they get hired, not you - it's no reflection on you. There are a lot of people looking for jobs these days, so that can certainly happen.
Also look at how you're presenting yourself in interviews. Be sure to dress appropriately, and research the company ahead of time and have a few questions ready and/or ask for more details on something the interviewer has said, to show you're interested.
Good luck on finding something soon.

You did not say what type of job you were looking for. If you are qualified and still can't get the job ,,,It may be the way you answered the interview questions. They are fairly standard and there are books and Internet sites that can give you advice. Also, sorry to say but, 1st impression of a person is the way they look. Make sure you dress correctly for the interview. Don't show up for a bankers job interview wearing tee shirt, shorts and flip flops.

It's hard to say what you're doing wrong when we don't have your resume and cover letter, but you may want to start from there. Do you have enough experience for the job? Can you bring a company a fresh new perspective that will help them increase productivity? Do you carry yourself with confidence in an interview?
You may want to contact your local temp agency. They can help you with these skills as well as find you some work that you can do. I went through my temp agency for work and got some really great jobs and now I work for them. Hang in there. You'll find something soon.

Keep on trying. Check your skills compatibility with the job that you apply for. Check your interview skills and how you present yourself to the employer. Good Luck!
But if you still cannot find a job after a prolonged period, do get a part-time job.

Stop trying to get a job at a corporate place. Go into every small business you can find and talk to the owner.

stop asking yourself why you can't get a job.
start looking at your resume and ask yourself how you can look back at yourself 1 day in the future what you have learnt and contributed or will contribute to the society.
