I used to work 3-11, and I slept through the morning, about 5am-1pm.

Well, some time between midnight, when your shift ends, and 3 pm, when you start again. The decision is yours, isn't it? If I were you, I would sleep when I returned home from work. You will be sleeping when the rest of society is sleeping, which is always easier. If you get home by, say, 1am, you can have 8 hours of sleep by 9am. There are people still sleeping at that time. If you sleep during the day, you may be disturbed by people going about their business in the "broad daylight" hours.

Probably 1-9 a.m. or something like that. Give yourself a little time to get home and unwind from the workday, then try to get 7-8 hours of sleep. That'll give you the day to do what you want to - there are a lot more things available to do in the daytime than midnight to morning.

Go for 5pm to 7pm in a nice hidden area of your workplace.
