At your age, it will be difficult to work enough hours to earn that much money. There are only a few places that will hire you at 15, usually fast food places. During the school year, the hours you are allowed to work are usually restricted by child labor laws. You may find it pays better to get babysitting jobs or to provide some other service for your neighbors (yard work or help with cleaning or dog walking) where you can control your pay rate and hours. Also, if you are a good enough swimmer, find out how old you have to be in your area to work as a lifeguard (some places it's 15, but where we live it's 16). That's always a job that's in demand. A more realistic goal at your age may be to earn $5,000 to $6,000 in a year.

Depends on where you work. With a full-time job that comes to about $7.50 an hour.

Since you're probably in school, if you worked 5 hours a day after school, 5 days a week, for 52 weeks, at $11.50, that would give you $15,000 a year.

Btw, I don't know any 15 yr old that can make $11.50, $7 is the most I'd pay any 15 year old, and that's for a very special reason.

Quit school and get a job that pays you $8 an hour for a 40 hour week 12 months a year. If you are willing to work overtime, you could do it on a job that pays less per hour and maybe get some time off. Stay in school, get a part time job, and prepare for a future where you can make a lot more. Unless your family is really strapped for money, you will do better if you don't take a job now. When you get into college you can make side money waiting tables. $15K is not worth throwing your future away.

Well any job that paid over 7 dollars an hour. Someone of your age, and since you would be just starting in the work force, might be a little hard to find. But I would guess you could make something like that at best buy or circuit city. Only problem is you will not be able to work full time. And you would also have to pay taxes.

The first-rate you'll be able to do is one million% in a cash marketplace. Savings account pay ¾% at so much, and checking money owed do not pay whatever. I recommend you maintain approximately $one million,000 to your bank account to avert upkeep charges, and positioned the opposite $14,000 in a cash marketplace. Money markets are simply as reliable as cash within the financial institution, due to the fact that cash marketplace managers make investments the cash in 30 day industrial paper. Before you recollect any sort of funding, be certain you may have a minimum of a yr of cash positioned apart as a wet day fund. The rule was 6 months, however it takes nine - yr to get a task on this economic system.
