Last Thursday, I first saw the job listing on the staffing agency's website - I applied for the job the same day. On Saturday, I saw a similar job on Company X's website, so I also applied. In a follow-up call to the staffing agency today, the recruiter informed me that the job was actually at Company X and that I should NOT apply directly to them! At this point, I wasn't sure what to say so I said nothing. What should I do? Will it look bad that I applied to the same job twice using two different methods?

I went to the bank to apply for a loan. First of all my credit is bad. I told the loan officer that up front. I have a couple of friends that went to the same bank with credit worse than mine and also their debt income ratio was higher and they made less money than my husband and I. Is this discrimination? I think so. How do I take this a step further? I'm pissed and I think it's wrong. The amount I ask for was 4,000. My other two friends were approved for 5,000.

Her mortgage advice seems to always be lacking. Though she loves to address 30 year mortgages. She seems to forget the average 1st mortgage is paid off within 39 months, either by sale, or by refinancing. She also seems to forget that we live in a highly mobile world where few people stay in their homes longer than 5 years. She also seems to give advice as if the loan being taken out is going to be her loan, forgetting that individual borrowers need individual financing. I could go on and on but I just hate to see someone give advice on what works best for them personally, and represent it as the best and/or only option for all borrowers. It does more damage than good to the folks that are trying to get into a home, but don't have her financial assets.

my history: in my country, we always respect our parents' wishes, that's why when my mother wanted me to take something in the medical field, first i took up respiratory therapy and graduated last year, then im going back this year to study nursing because it's what my mother wants. she is open to the idea that i want to go back to school to study something that i really want, it's just that she wants me to have a nursing degree as a backup plan in case i don't get a job that i want.

my personality: im kind of an introvert, im not mean or anything, it's just that i prefer to work individually, in an office preferably where i have my own room, or my own cubicle. i like routines, i feel confident when i know how to do the task and surprises or spontaniety oftentimes shakes my confidence. im pretty good with math, if there is a job that i could compute all day, i would take it. i know it sounds like an accountant's job, but i want something that is stable and not freelance to be cont..

Ok, let me tell you my story-I have bad credit but NO DEBT. Before I joined the military, I payed my 2300 worth of debt off. That was about a year ago, maybe 10 months. Anyways, My credit is still bad though, and I applied for an autoloan through USAA and they said I could get a 12,000 loan WITH a cosigner. But This is not what I need, I need a little bit higher, say, 15,000. Since, I have no debt, Are all the places gonna only approve me for 12,000 or can I get anymore? Please don't tell me to get a car for 12,000, I have the car I want, it is a good deal and my only advise I need is about the loan, not my car. Thanks, by the way, I currently have no credit cards or anything.

Both of these are online travel agencies that promise you a home based business. I am a working mom looking to make some extra cash and I came across both of these ads for a home based business. Both companies require an initial investment, hence my research to ensure they are legit and not just trying to scam me out of my money.
