How do I go about finding a grant writer, and how do I go about finding out specific grants that are accepting applications? When I search the net, I find a bunch of if you pay me to get my free information sites, but nothing giving me specific grant information. Can anyone tell me a site where I can actually see the grant qualifications along with a listing of grants?

I have an interview tomorrow for a paralegal position. I'm wondering if I really have to wear a suit. It's 100 degrees outside!

Also, I've heard some people still think girls should wear a skirt, not pants, to an interview. Any advice?

I want to sell a portion of interest in a gas well that has been drilled and capped. But I don't know who would buy such a thing. Nobody seems to understand that there is litteraly 10's of millions of dollars (USD) right under my feet and I just want to get it out of the ground.I have all the engineering reports and a pluged up hole in the ground @ 19,000 psi and when I talk to people about selling interest in the well to fund the extraction process they look at me like I'm from Mars. WTF?

Right now, we have some money from Grandma sitting in a crappy bank savings account that is only earning .75 percent. He doesn't need the money for anything right now, so I would like a much higher interest rate.

I have worked in the same job for about a year, and there is going to be a position opening in another department of my company that I would really like to try and go for. However, it seems like the position is practically already given to another person. She is very competent, but I feel that I would be as well, and deserve a fair shot. What should I do?

ps. the job I have now and the other job work under the same manager. Should I talk to him about it?

I gave my resume to a staffing agency to find me a permanent position. The staffing agent said that I should not apply for any jobs myself; instead, I should notify the rep of any jobs I see that I would like to apply for.

Should I do what he says, or should I apply for jobs on my own, anyway? What could it hurt?

He still hasn't explained to my satisfaction why I should search for a job through him.

He claims that if I apply for a job and then he submits my resume for a *different* job within the same company, the recruiter will get confused about...errr...something...this is where is didn't make any sense.

Any idea as to whether or not I should rely on this staffing agent solely to submit my resume?

I've just been hired for a new job. The job I currently work at wasn't giving me enough hours and I'm trying to think of a way to tell my boss that Friday will be my last day working for him. Also, I would like to tell him that i appreciate all the work he has given me this summer. How can I word that so that it doesn't make him mad?
