Lets say it takes you 8 years to study medicine and become a doctor. You will be 29 years old and a doctor. If you don't study medicine in 8 years you will be 29 years old and manager of McDonalds? I say go for it...

i do not imagine so. i'm 21 and that i'm only ending college to be a Radiologic Technologist. i comprehend it is only an acquaintances degree yet I surely have worked with some docs that were both an RT or Nurses before they went on to develop right into a medical professional. once you end you may be on your previous due 20s to early 30s. that isn't any longer truly that old.

No, you're still young. Its the 50 and 60 year olds who should be thinking that they wouldn't live forever... I see those old people in college and wonder "What are you doing here? Trying to take away education from the young people?" I mean, they take the government funding. Since the government can't support everyone, many young and smart men and woman, who should persuade an education, can't afford it and end up working at Mc Donald's. But what happens to those elderly folks? I wonder if they even get their degree before they pass away... plus their memory and mind is not as young as they once were...

My uncle didn't start med school until he retired from the military in his late 30's. I think you should be more than fine at 21.

No, it's never too late. I've heard of people starting medical school in their 30s.

No at all - if you really want to go into the field, I encourage you to do so. We need more doctors and nurses. It's never too late to go to school and make something of yourself. Good luck to you!!
