I bank with Bank of America and they offer a custodial savings account. I like this option because I can transfer money each week from my checking account to this account. I don't understand about why they report interest rate to child's credit report. Any help there would be great. Also are there any other investments I can start besides the savings account that requires small amount of money up front for my three yr old then also start for my 1 yr old.

Scenario 1 if the president of a company receives a letter that states an employee falsified info. on his job application. ie. he is a convicted felon but wrote he had never been convicted of a crime but at the time of application 7 yrs had passed from the time of conviction, can he get fired?

Scenario 2) If someone tells the president in the letter that this employee is looking for another job, will the company terminate him or just watch over him?

Scenario 3) if said employee is operating a vehicle a forklift which almost caused injury to another employee walikng by, & the letter states he is taking drugs, but the company does not drug test employees. what will the company do? anything?

Please help if u know the answrs to these quest it is for my business ethics class?

I have $23,000 worth of Student Loan Debt left. It's been a tax deduction for me while paying it off but I have so many years left on it and now the rate is worse than if I went and got a loan elsewhere. I'm wondering, would it make sense tax wise to pay off the student loan with other money or does the tax deduction somehow cancel out the interest for the loan and make it worth it to keep it?

I owe a hospital ar0ound $3K, aplied for a monthly payment but I was declined. now collection ageny is taking care of it .The thing is I don`t have a social securtiy number and my status in the U.S if F-1 visa student . But I`m planning to get a SSN in the following months. So what can Collection Agency do to me? Mess up my credit history that I will make in future? or banning me from the States??

I have been paying on this line of credit for 3 years and becasue it has a flexible interest rate although I pay extra because the interest rates continue to rise most of the payment is almost all interest. I need help getting out of this mess but I also need to put as much money in the 401k as I can because that is not where it should be either. If I do take a inservice withdrawal I will not be able to contribute for 6 months. This means i will lose the interest on the money I take out and on the money I cannot contribute for six months. I will lose my employers 5 percent matching and the tax advantages. What do I do? I plan to retire within the next 3 to 5 years. This is such a mess. I cannot take a loan out because I did so to payoff credit cards and I can only have one outstanding loan at a time. I feel so trapped! The home equity line of credit balance is 13000 dollars.

How do I start making websites for people?

I mean I've made websites for many years, but I am not sure if i have the skills necessary to make good sites for other people. I am comfortable using HTML/XHTML/CSS/PHP (and though I can't write my own javascript, I can configure it easily, as well as other kinds of scripts) I am a pretty quick learner too if I don't know something. I can graphic design (PS) but unfortuantly can't design in flash (beside basic stuff, bullets, animation,... I can't do the complex designs). I am pretty familiar with everything as I've maintained my own websites for 6 years. I think I could use this skill as a way to make money and build up a portfolio during the summer, do you think it'd be a good idea?

I just started a job at taco bell, im only 17, so i do not have to pay taxes at the end of the year..... on my w-4 form i filed to be exempt (wich i heard means that they dont take federal taxes out of your pay check) but exactly how much is that? how much exactly would they take out if i was not exempt? On my w-2 for i claimed 1... myself.... any help?

And i keep sending them back, and they keep sending these fancy envolopes to me, they don't even offer me any gifts, just that i should open an account with them, Every time, I recieve one of these, I write please send back to sender, then they even change one letter in my name to continue sending me junk mail! What do i have to do to stop sending me junk mail! I don't even open them, i just give it back to the mailman! I can recieve up to 6-7 of the SAME request from the SAME company in one week! Are they really desprate to have me as their customer?
