what is the maximum working temp for outside jobs?

To my knowledge there is no maximum temp. My husband works construction and they work as if any other day on those extreme hot day. The only change they sometimes consider from winter and summer would going in early in morning to get done a little quicker in the day!!!!.......That might be just a poor mans way of making a living though!!!....
