In the paper, in the classified section, there are some ads that have REAL cheap houses, and the number below the ad says "call for a list"... that is to say, you have to pay for the list.

Has anyone ever done this? Is it a rip off? Is it worth it? If I really could find a cheap house that had been repossessed, I'd be willing to pay 125 for the list, but I just wanted to be sure it's for real.

I have some old serious Swiss Francs but they are out of service so the banks here won't cash them in. What can I do?

I've never been really big on school, I went to college this past year and now I'm on academic suspension. Is there a way I can get a stable, decent paying career without going to college? How about if I went to community college? I have a really good work ethic and I'll be dedicated to whoever hires me, I just didn't care for school at all.

I am a loser with no money. I always can apply for local grocery stores, but I doubt that would keep my interest. Any good jobs out there? I am highly interested in computers, and I know a lot about writing html code (internet). Anyone have some suggestions. Have been looking into the Geek Squad, but I have heard a lot of people say that is a horrible place to work... Any help would be appreciated.

I have been applying for Federal jobs (entry level) for two years now, and can't even get to the point of receiving an interview. Does anyone know a different way to go about this? Many of the applications I am basing on education because I have a 3.91 GPA and a Bachelors. I also have 2 years of corporate experience. I can't even seem to land a secretary interview!! Any information you could provide would be greatly appreciated!

I have a job right now, but I hate it. I work for explosive, over-emotional people that abuse their employees daily. For example, I did make an unfortunate mistake of sending a RECEIPT to a business address rather than the residential address. The recipient, however, knowing that we performed a service and the cost, did not read it correctly. I was literally cussed out for this.

I'm looking for another job, but the area in which I live is depressed. Does anyone out there have any experience job hunting in depressed areas?

I'm thinking of buying offshore property that I plan to rent out most months of the year. The builder is also offering mortgage loans. I was wondering if the interest from this loan is tax deductible as well when I file my US income tax return even though the property is offshore and the mortgage is foreign as well?

I signed a purchase/sale agreement to buy a new construction home. I waived financing and inspection in the agreement. But I have not deposited earnest money yet. Now I want to walk away from the deal. The sell threatens to sue me if I do not deposit the earnest money.

When I bought my house and I went to get my loan from a mortgage company, the lender ran my credit 22 TIMES!!!! Every time you run someones credit it takes away points, so I went from a really good score to a horrible one. WHAT SHOULD I DO???? I know its illegal. Do I sue or do I just call them and ask for a settlement. What options do I have?????

I bought my home before my wife and I were married. The problem is, her name is not on the deed or mortgage, and I would hate to think how the state of Texas would complicate things for her if anything happened to me. How can I add her name to the deed on the house?
