I've been working at my job since the middle of this June and I plan on going to college in the beginning of September and moving in with my dad and I don't want to work there any longer. When and how should I let my boss know? I heard from a fellow worker that one girl gave a two weeks notice and they made her work one week gave her the next week off then had work the week after that. Plus where I work doesn't even have a manager. I don't know what to do.

This is for submission to a private company. I want to request funding for studies that will help them when I'm done. What type of headings do you need?

Is this insulting????
I have been with my company for 3 yeas now. The first year I was given a 3.5% increase on my pay, last year 2.5% ( and I was out for 6 months, and came back a week before evaluations on maternity leave) then this year I got 1%!!!!!!!! 1%!!!!

Should I feel insulted, or is a 1% increase good?? I totaled it up, and it gives me an extra 280.00 per year!! That doesnt even cover gas to do all the running around I do for this place!!

What do you think I should do?? Say something or not.

So 3 years, and I have gotten a total of 90 cents is good??!! I live in central mass where the average house costs 250,000.00, and average rent is 1000.00 p/month.

We are eligable for up to a 6 % increase each June. Let me add that this is a VERRRYY successful company!!!

I only got 11 cents!!

A lady I worked with offered to help us rent out our house while we were living overseas. We sent her a contract to sign, but she refused to sign it saying, she was just doing to to help us out, and that she would not charge us. We accepted her help because we were desperate and now living overseas. She managed to get us renters, but never sent us a rental aggreement, a signed lease, or anything. She always sent the rent to us very late, and did not do anything we asked as far as direct deposit, or collecting fees. We finally had enough, and decided to sell our house. She became upset with us, after we had Century 21 take over the property management. Now, she is saying we owe her money for services she claimed she did. She hasn't sent us any notification that she did any of these said items, other than make up a list of things on her computer. She actually put a lien on our home saying that we owe her. These are false claims, and I want to send some kind of burden of proof.?

I'll be 15 & 1/2 in a couple of weeks...so I can't drive just yet. I also haven't had much experience in the working field. Would this be a good job, or is it not worth it? And if not, does anyone have any suggestions for another job...I'm practically open for anything.

Is it possible to pay the rent of a cheap but decent apartment with a job at a fast-food restaurant or store, any job that pays you the minimum wage?

I can't live at home anymore. My sister is going to make me do something that I will regret for the rest of my life if I don't get out of here.

I don't have a job right now, which I plan to get one. I am currently a college junior, soon I will get a real job but for now, I don't want to be at home. I don't have any patience anymore.

I'm finally down to one credit card with a balance of about $500. I know that may not seem like much, but I cant seem to pay this one down because of the high interest. I haven't received any advertisements lately in the mail for other cards that offer lower interest rates on balance transfers. Anyone have any suggestions as to what I cant do to end my debt? I have a part time job, but I can't handle any more hours with my school load. All help will be greatly appreciated.

Recently purchased an internet-based service, and am having major issues. There is no contact number listed on the website, only a digital 'contact us' form. I completed the form and have had no response in 5+ business days. I'm wondering if a business HAS to provide an ample way to reach them to resolve consumer issues. Anyone have any feedback?
