Recently purchased an internet-based service, and am having major issues. There is no contact number listed on the website, only a digital 'contact us' form. I completed the form and have had no response in 5+ business days. I'm wondering if a business HAS to provide an ample way to reach them to resolve consumer issues. Anyone have any feedback?

yes they should, unless they're shady. Don't know if it's law.
You should have done the research before purchasing. If you are really having a lot of trouble and it's been days, contact the Better Business Bureau in your area (or bbb.com) and file a complaint. They will try to help you resolve it.

Better yet, if you're paying by credit card, you can get a refund. Call your credit card company and tell them you paid for a service that you never received. They will usually oblige. When the company can't collect payment, they will cancel you and you can sign up elsewhere.

not if it is a solely Internet based operation.

that is the wonderful thing about free Enterprise, you can do business in anyway you want so Long as you aren't scamming people!

but i will admit it could hurt your business if you don't have a contact number for customer support/

Of course you need a coctact number for your customers to reach you. If you have to ,then put your home number on their, but get your business out there so people can see it.
