It is a Christian business, plus my last name is Christian, I've used Olive Branch as a business name before (totally different kind of business). I'd like to contintue using a dogwood branch on the brouchures. please if anyone can help

It's listed at $64,900 and it's nice for a starter home. The only issues are that the deck needs fixing, needs a new driveway, and some other stuff.

Should I assume they've already reduced the price of the house and just ask 64,900? Or shold I go lower and ask, say, $57,900?

What's the general rule for offers?

I love to sing but I need alot of training, self confidence wise, musically and need to get out there more and I know there is a good chance I won't make it but I am afraid that if I study as a dental hygienist I will get tired of it and I am a person who doesn't like to be in a routine cooped up in an office my whole life and I hate working in office settings as I had bad experiences with people who work in the office/business atmosphere. I like to travel, move around, be outside and help people. But I also want to make enough money to survive and live comfortably. I feel its my duty to take care of my mom and sister since my father passed away but I am not sure what to do. My grade point average is 3.4 and dental hygiene is so demanding and I am not sure I want it that badly. Help! Is there anyone in this position and not sure what to do?

I've seen it on TV once in a while but I don't remember what company it was for. (It said it would give you your credit report for free.) Has anyone seen something like that and, if so, what company was it?

when i sign a one year lease could i request the carpet to be replaced? the "dusty rose" color walls in the living room only to be painted back to white just like every other room? to request one new applicance (either a new fridge or a new stove) like all the other units that we viewed? also if u ever been in hotel rooms, they have a box usually at the end of the room, which is located next to the balcony window, where u turn the flap upwards and there are controls for warm and cooling temperatures. well we saw one of these in the apartment unit but the manager told us there was no A/C and also we cannot put a regular A/C because there is not A/C sleeve and the windows go vertically. what do you suggest i do. also the place had had a sign outside saying 1 and 2 bedrooms available and when i asked about 2 bedrooms they said there's none left....so why would they advertise it.

I have been with my company for 3 yeas now. The first year I was given a 3.5% increase on my pay, last year 2.5% ( and I was out for 6 months, and came back a week before evaluations on maternity leave) then this year I got 1%!!!!!!!! 1%!!!!

Should I feel insulted, or is a 1% increase good?? I totaled it up, and it gives me an extra 280.00 per year!! That doesnt even cover gas to do all the running around I do for this place!!

What do you think I should do?? Say something or not.

I used to get paid every Friday and now its just the last day of the month and the 15th. It sucks! and after all this time I am still not used to it. If needed, you can e-mail me with some strategies that might help me stop living paycheck to paycheck. Thanks.

I am employed full-time but need extra income. I have done a lot of painting on my own houses over the years and have all the equipment (sprayers, tarps, ladders, power washer, etc.). What I want to know is how to estimate pricing for jobs and what the best way is to get my name out there. Also, do you thing it would be a major problem if I could pretty much only do the painting on weekends?
