You don't say what country you are in, but in many states in the US, and presumably elsewhere, 16 is the legal age to get a regular job. Far be it for me to recommend you lie about your age, however . . . But seriously, there are other things you could do until you turn 16, aren't there? You might ask at one of the restaurants that has already turned you down whether in fact the legal age is 16. How about newspaper delivery? Or any sort of thing you could do on foot or on a bike. Or go to your neighbors and offer to run errands or do yard work or cleaning jobs.

At 15 you have a bank account and you are worried that your balance is below $200? Wow- I am impressed. You are a lot more mature then most of your peers. But unfortunately until you turn 18 nobody can hire you-full time or part time- on a regular job at a company because you are under age. Your best bet would be to ask neighbors to cut their grass for pay or some other job like that where you would get cash. Good luck.

Keyzin - you need to tell us a little bit more about yourself?
What kind of experience in the food business might you have? Why a restaurant?
Do you live somewhere where you might need a work permit first (you are only 15)?
