You may want to look at publications. Buying bulk amounts of books from wholesale publishers and selling them below RRP on ebay makes plentiful amounts. There's a market as your books are brand new.
Don't sell e-books, they're pirated for nothing nowadays.
Just buy bulk from a reputable wholesaler and profit is guaranteed!
Jewellery is another regal market that if done properly is a just one. I'd say go for something you enjoy though, it's great when you're up and running with money being deposited into your account!
Good for you!

You've got to sell what you're knowledgeable in. For me, it's vintage toys, comics, and Beatles memorabilia. I check out thrift stores and yard sales, buy junk cheap, and sell them. Summer time isn't a great time to sell, business picks up around Oct through Dec. then dwindles down.

I've given up with ebay, it's so full of tat nowadays the genuine sellers are becoming more difficult to find. You really need to find a niche in the market for something that everyone wants as well as needs - what that is is very difficult to get right.

buy cheap sell high. also you can sell stuff for $1 then charge the difference as shipping charge that way if you ever need to do a refund you only need to give them $1 and you keep the remains.

If you report income and do not list an employer, you will likely be assumed "self-employed". Keep very good records, because you may be red-flagged for a periodic audit.
