I had a job interview in person a couple of weeks ago that went really well. I followed it up with a call and thank you a week later. It's now the second week since the interview and I haven't heard back. The interview went well and I was told they would be in touch soon.

My question is: I don't want to seem over eager...how long should I wait to inquire on the status of the position?

Beyond "data" to spur knee-jerk reactions to buying/selling, what value are the daily numbers?

Is this really financial news anymore than a storm off the coast of FL sends the price of crude rocketing?

I am begininng to wonder if everything from real-estate to oil is just trumped up and overvalued fueled by speculation and fear to drive up the percieved value of anything for sale.

Just a thought?

I need to know how to target the right customers and how to get started on my own. I know it's a demand but also a competitive market. I also need to make a legal contract for me and the customers. Starting small is my plan and work myself up, but not out of business. Any information is helpful and greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I have a house that needs some work that Im selling as a handy man special. I buy and sell house for a living and have done this for years. But the guy that owns the property next door and around the house keeps coming over when the realtor is there with a potential buyer and saying there is a million things wrong that really are not. What can I do about this. he has ran several people off doing this. Is there any laws that prevent this. i have no trespassing signs up now to maybe detour him from coming around.

I dont necessarily want to sell them, I want to introduce myself and just let them know who I am, unfortunately my advertisements dont come out until next week and the end of the month is coming... What are some things I could say? I dont want to be annoying, Im not trying to close a deal, I just want to let them know who I am, what I do, and where to find me.
By the way, my business is an auto detailing business. There are two other similar businesses in town. They are busy so I know there market is there, the problem is no one knows I exist. Please Help! I want to be polite, this is a small town and people here support small businesses, in fact, we're one of the only towns without a WalMart yet so I know we will be well recieved.
Thanks/

I live in Oakwood Village, Ohio. I need to refinance my home this month. The last mortgage broker I went to did not do a good job. He did something wrong. I have an adjustable rate. After doing some research(which I should have done before on the mortgage broker), having an adjustable rate now is not good. My present payments are too high. I have other bills. Could someone recommed a reliable mortgage broker or yourself if you can help? Thanks.

My mother has $200,000 to put towards a house in California. She is hoping she may get married one day, but does not want her future husband to have a claim in her property if she dies.

She plans to give the property to me (her only child) and my children when she dies.

If her future husband lives in her home with her, how can she keep it separate?

If he does any work on the house, like repairing the roof, doesn't it become community property in California?

Isn't it the same thing if they have a joint account and pay the mortgage payment out of the checking account?

Wal-Mart staff ordered to search store after bomb threat
http://snipurl.com/t6z0 (more detail in link)

I was then told:
Since Wal-Mart carries their own life insurance policies on their employees (payable to the company; in the US it's $50,000, I dunno what it is in Canada), this only benefits the company. If they don't find anything, there is no official investigation to cover up, and if someone dies, the company gets a pile of cash for it.

Win-win!

I require documented proof that this is true.

Thank you in advance.

basically i have become over my head in bills and am in dire need of a vehical. 2 problems:

1. i have little or no credit (depends on who checks it)
2. I have little money for down payments or even to pay my bills.

Without credit, it i'm having a difficult time getting a vehical cuz i don't qualify for any lagitamite loans. And i need to somehow consolidate my bills. if i can do one or the other, i can save my self, but i need suggestions. my one friend suggested a Credit Union might help me get a loan for a vehicle. if not, i was thinking debt consolidation anyway.

Can someone help?
