LOl i would know that as i own two pizza stores myself. Depends on the ovens. Some can last years and years. A blogit oven is going to give you a stone baked taste. That is a oven with a door and you have to manually rotate the pizzas. They make a great crisp crust and the pizzas are nice and great tasting. These are very pricey and the one down fall is that you are in the oven alot with your arms and hands which means more burns and unless you are doing it all in the ovens you could see a high rate increase on your insurance for employee medical bills. Then there is the middlebys and lincoln impingers.(what we have) These are nice.. run on gas and are on a coveyer belt. like a wire rack. these are excellent and make a great crust and have much fewer burns. Try to find one with a side viewing window as pizzas can bubble on occasion and this makes it easier to get to the ones in the middle when popping the bubbles or half cooking something. They are easy to clean as you can take the wire rack off the coveyer and soak it and put it back on. That is a reasonable price if you are seeing them around 8k we paid around 15k for each of ours and we have two. They can be stacked as well for more available space in your kitchen too. Ebay is fine just ask the person for at least a 30-60 day warrentee and then use them alot during that time even if you are not open yet to ensure that they are working properly. Good luck

Like someone said, it depends on which brand/type you go with. If you are buying off ebay, watch out because there are lots of junk ovens out there that people will guarantee for a month and then they break on you and you're out thousands of dollars. If you buy a new oven, you can choose the options you want, and they usually come with at least a year or two of warranty.

If you're looking at buying another oven, check out http://www.pizzaovens.com . I have bought from them before, and are the cheapest for many of the major brands. They sell to pretty much any where in the world, and I had a great experience dealing with them. They can answer questions you have about what type is best for you, too. I think they have used ovens on their site too, and they are probably much more dependable than an ebay user would be. Good luck!
