i recently put an item up for sale on the net. a person told me that he would buy it but he was going to send a postal money order but it requires that i mail the package in order to get the money order sent to my residence. here's what the email from the post office said........The Money OrderSM will NOT be dispatched or get to your resident until the shipment has been verified. This measure is taken in order to protect both seller and buyer's interests and to reduce the occurrence of fraudulent activities. so has anyone ever used this before and is it legit? i have never even heard of this so please any info would help.

I'm under 18 and only work at this company for 2 months out of the year, because i'm still in school. I get payed at the end of every week and the checks are constantly around 300. I am single and don't have any kids(well i hope i don't) neways, I was taxed about 60 dollars off the last check, when last year i was only taxed about 20. Is it normal for me to loose 30 bucks to federal income taxes? that doesn't seem right.

The price of a stock is determined largely by the present and future earnings per share, which, in turn, are determined by the knowledge and skills of their management team.

if you had your first interview and the person interviewing you gave you conditions you didn't know before and aren't flexible with, how do you say I don't think I want to work here anymore at the second interview with the manager?

I have a college degree and have applied for jobs I'm very qualified for and don't even get an interview. Do they prefer local applicants? How do I get an "in" there?

II have an idea for a niche in health care recruiting that can provide many qualified people for both temporary and permient placements. Short of cold calling recruiters does anyone have any contacts in the industry.

The test is multiple choice, covers 10 chapters, but is a timed exam=60 min to answer 80 questions. I'm not sure if I should waste time making flash cards or not, or just review all the material once. Time constraints and other conflicts also conflict with studying this week. If anyone has a good effective study plan that I can stick to I would appreciate it. Thanks

I think that I'm going to be ready to terminate my employment soon. Can I give less than two weeks notice if...
-I suspect I won't get paid for the time that I work (my employer is shady)
-The company is going down-hill, and our receivables (what customers owe us) is lesser than our payables (what we owe vendors... some as old as 2003)
-I've found another job that I can start immediatly

Can I quit after I process payroll for the company?

Is there anyone on Yahoo! Answers today who has worked on a cruise ship? I'm curious as to what it is like. I used to think it souded really fun but I read somewhere that if you work on a cruise ship you can't go on deck when you aren't working. What's the fun in that? I'd date to be couped up in a cabin all day long.

My adult son was unable to work for several months following his illness and hospital stay. He required extensive care from home health for about 3 months. He finally went to work and started making payments on his hospital bill each month. The hospital has turned his balance over to a collection agency. They are now calling and offering a reduced amount to settle or asking him to agree to pay a monthly amount that is more than he can afford. He has a 7 year old son to support as well as trying to save enough money to move out of my home. I would appreciate any help in answering this issue. Thank you.
