If you want to "get rich over night', please ignore my answer..This is what I do part-time, (I wouldn't call it a job but a career about 12 hours a week) and make extra income from. None of these things that I do cost me any money to start and depending on what I do, I get paid either monthly or weekly!
1) I resell some of the extra items that I have around the house on the internet also I go to yard sales, discount bins at my local stores, flea markets, bazaars or buy from family or friends and resell the items on the net for profit. I sell the small items on a international "auction site" and the larger items on a local "auction site" (less cost for shipping and handling and more profit for me).
2) I make extra pocket change by spending close to an hour a night by doing easy things like "reading emails". All I do is open the email, click on the link that is provided, wait for the timer to expire and then open another email etc.....
3) I also have a website and a blog that makes me money. To make money off my blog and web page (this a crash course) is that I have a "passive income" generator (like "Google Adsense") on my site and blog, I add content to my blog and website regularly...At first (not knowing better) I was using my blog as a personal "what I did today..where I went....what my friend said" site". I soon realized that this was no way to make any money so I changed my blog for better content and money making "keywords". and on my "field of expertise". I get regular visitors to my site and blog, that leave comments or have linked to my site (a great form of web traffic) and the more traffic you get equals the more money you make.
If you need more info, feel free to email me through Yahoo Answers, but please first read the links that I will provide below..The only thing that reading these links below is going to cost you is time..

Compared to offline businesses, the investment required to start an online business is minimal. A popular way of earning money on the internet is by providing information and services. This can be monetised by advertising or charging a subscription. You can also make money online by selling products on auction websites like eBay or through your own website. It depends on your talents and preferences, but yes, there are plenty of work-from-home jobs that can bring you a regular paycheck. Stuffing envelops is one of the oldest and still is needed. On the other end of the complexity scale, you can do help-desk support or mortgage brokering. As long as you have a phone and/or computer, there are many opportunities that are feasible and profitable. I have one word for you: research! No one can tell you what will work best for you. Good luck!

All sorts of things!
an eBay shop
an Avon rep
a weight watchers rep (assuming you're at what they call a target weight)
making things if you're artisitc - like jewelry or cards or picture frames
are you a writer? There are all sorts of sites out there that pay people for articles etc
how about babysitting or childminding?
dog walking?
gardening for people?
working for the elderly or disabled, maybe doing shopping etc?
ironing?
Think about what you like doing and go from there - if you enjoy something it'll be much easier to stick with, and you're more likely to be successful.

Look into buying foreclosed houses and selling them on contract to someone who can fix them up themselves!
I look on realtor.com for houses under $5000 (A really low investment for a business!) I put an ad in the paper looking for someone to buy it on contract, then I buy it and immediately sell it to them. You put down the original money, they pay the taxes and your payments, you get the interest on the land contract and if they default you get the improved house back to sell again!
Way less than 15 hours a week, low investment, immediate return.
