I am looking into the possiblility of moving to Japan, but two things are dangling in the air: I will obviously need to work, and I do not have a good mastery of the language. I know there are companies out there that hire non-native speakers, but I am hoping to get as many sources as I can to do research. My area of specialty is Finance

Is there a career in the USA where I could get 2-3 months off yearly?

Excluding teaching
Unpaid time off is also great … as long as I don’t have to work like an American 72 hours a week … 6 days a week with ½ week of vacation … I want to explore working without the ball and chain!!!

legal work question?

I was recently hired for a job, but upon a background check, they said that my references weren't what they expected. Now my references are flawless, up till my last job. After my 90 days they didnt give me benefits or a raise, so my above and beyond type of work fell to what was required of me. They didnt like this, so they fired me. At dismissal they wanted me to sign a paper with a list of accusations that were so crazy that I told them I wouldnt sign my name to that! I know this place is giving out bad information on me based on the last week or so I was there, this isnt fair, considering that everyone, even the owners, said that I was the best they ever had in that position! Who can I contact?

Is Ancestral property share taxable for a daughter in India?

My late father had all 5 daughters & no sons. All five of us are married & our mother is alive. Now our mother wants to sell off our ancestral agricultural land & wishes to give equal share to all the daughters. Is finishing a basement hard work? Is it worth it?

I was thinking about finishing a basement at my rehab house. It would give it a room for the furnace and laundry app., another bedroom (making it 3 beds). I would also put in a bathroom and possibly a dry bar. Is this a lot of work? And would it be worth it?

I was turned down for a job because of my age. This did not bother me that much because of my age(62). When I was employed I was a supervisor and did my own hiring.But I was honest. I told the people I interviewed what I expected. If you didnt qualifie I told you . Thats all I ask. Be honest

I work for myself and am having a hard time trying to get customers and sales, what should I do?

I work for myself in Mary Kay and it is the end of the Year for us in June, and I have a goal to meet so that I can attend my first Seminar in Texas. I do FREE Facials and Makeovers and SPA parties. In May I kind of dropped off for a little bit because I had some family problems but I have jumped back on this month to make everything count, but it is coming down to the line and I really want to meet my goal. Where are some good places to find ideas and customers. This is one of the best companies that I have ever been a part of and I want to do everything in my part to share it with others. SO does anyone have ideas for my dilema at the end of year. I would so appreciate any help I can get.
