I work for myself in Mary Kay and it is the end of the Year for us in June, and I have a goal to meet so that I can attend my first Seminar in Texas. I do FREE Facials and Makeovers and SPA parties. In May I kind of dropped off for a little bit because I had some family problems but I have jumped back on this month to make everything count, but it is coming down to the line and I really want to meet my goal. Where are some good places to find ideas and customers. This is one of the best companies that I have ever been a part of and I want to do everything in my part to share it with others. SO does anyone have ideas for my dilema at the end of year. I would so appreciate any help I can get.

Well you can set up a small thing in the mall in the middle isle so people can see it first hand... at a lower price of course.. but since the end of the month is in two days.. there isn't really much to do in two days to meet any quota... Try the mall thing it is relativly cheap and is only for a day or two and that will not be a prob for the mall staff... good luck

You could try offering some deals of some sort. A discount or something for a purchase. You could try ringing some ladies groups of organizations and or churches and set up something. I don't know what all MKay has but I'm sure you can put together some sort of little freebies that won't cost you much. Use them as an incentive.

Good luck!

I owned my own businesss....The way I rounded up busines was going to local festables.....Fairs.....4july celebrations......... You can make gift baskets....The summer time is a awesome way to get new business....... There is always an outside event going on.........call your town hall and ask about setting up a table or booth at one.....

Go by hair salons and drop off your business card and tell them you do make-up........because they get booked for proms and weddings...and all that is going on right now.

Make sure you drop off your may-Kay books at locate stores were people wait....ya know waiting rooms....that way they can sit a look when they are waiting....(DR Offices) Vets(dentists) Hair salons(Flower shops) Insurance offices.

Make sure you get all you client cards and send them cards in the mail about whats going on with May Kay right now.....If they forget you they aren't going to buy anything.

Post a ad in you local Newspaper.
handout business cards ALL THE TIME : )
Get the magnets with you name and maykay and phone number and put on the side of your car...people might know what they want but don't know a distributor.

There is all kinds of ways getting business....you just have to be willing to get out there and get it : )

Try putting up flyers in some gyms. People in there already want to look good. Other than that, try malls, coffee shops, book stores.... wherever you can.

Show a little skin. Go around house to house door to door and offer your services.
