In Florida it is a felony to have an invalid address on your license for more than 30 days.

So, it depends on where you live. Most states you can go online and update your info. They will mail your new license right to your new address.

yes, but if you get pulled over the pigs will question why the address on your license doesn't match your registration or insurance. there is usually a form from the MVA/DMV that you can fill out and they'll send you an updated info card that says you've moved and you are suppose to keep it with your license. kind of a hassle so it's up to you,

It depends on your state. In Kentucky they give you 30 to get you address changed on your license. After 30 days if you get stopped they fine you.

In my state, Michigan, they just place a sticker on the back indicating your new address. If you didn't flip my license over, you would never know I moved.

at the DMV there is a sticker you can get for free from them. You fill out the information and stick it to the back of your card. They should have something for your type of licensing.
