my first job I applied through the newspaper, 2nd and 3rd jobs were through people I knew. A school counsler or local job market might help as well. Ask around.

My first job I was referred from a friend. The rest I applied for them.

My first job was an internship at my mother's insurance company. I love when jobs fall right into your lap.
