My front landscaping is gone as so are most other houses in town. My house has no flood damage however most of the houses on higher ground weren't as fortunate having sheds and garages destroyed along with personal possessions ripped out of thier houses. Obviously it will be several months to recoupe the losses. This is a small of population 40,000; the average residential property is round about $65,000 and we are located near a military installation and were anticipating growth spur within the military community over the next few years. Should we be worried at all about our property value over the next 2-4 years or so?

The grandparents setup custodial funds for each of the three kids - now worth about $10k each. Now I am the custodian of the funds. Do I have to pay taxes on dividends the kids funds earn? What if I sell stocks in their fund for a profit (leaving the cash in their account or buying another stock or mutual fund in there?) Do I have to pay capital gains?

How do I explain to them all of the gaps between all my jobs, I know most employers want someone that is gonna be with the company a longtime. What could I say to pull this off. Due to the fact I had to care for my mom I wasn't able to stay with any company for a longtime. Does that sound legit.(ITS TRUE!)

International Monetary System. How important is the exchange rate for currencies? Also, is the International Monetary Fund still necessary as a lender of last resort?

I am eligible to retire at the end of this year, but my income would be roughly half of what it is now. I am thinking about buying a water truck or maybe a dump truck to supplement my income when I retire, but I don't know how to find out if I could find enough work to make it profitable. If I wait too long, The money I have put aside to invest will be spent due to my wife's inability to control spending. I've been at the same job for 29 years and am really burnt out.

hi,

both of us buyer and seller signed the contract on friday after a week of going back and forth over the phone about small details. i called to get an appointment for the home inspection, but accidentally found out that the seller is still showing his house to others who are coming in for a second viewing and says he will still negotiate with others.

he says that since he has 5 business days, he is still entertaining offers. what do i do? i live in illinois. we never signed the optional part of the contract where it asks if he is allowed to still keep his home on sale. is he allowed to get a contract signed and then still entertain other offers. i dont want him to use my contract to leverage with other people. the home is very desirable, but we are on a budget. also i am not selling my current home so there are no such morrtgage contingencies based on my current home.

lawyer is out of town till tuesday. this is getting in my head. its that sunken heart feeling of loosing your dream home. he was talking with me like he is warning me that the deal may not go through since he is getting another better offer.

can i argue with him using the good faith covenant and fair dealing covenant?

thanks,
mona

i was earning a basic of over 100k pa+bonus+car, then i whistle blew on my employer and they stopped paying me and changed the locks to my office. i am owed 300k +. they have given no formal notice. they just stopped paying me and refuse to give me a reference. the ramifications of this have left me on sickness benefits.

My man has a business partner whom i do not like but it is what it is and his girlfriend he is with for 11 months she wanted them to put the biz in her name while we iron our legal issues. I told my husband hell no. She is very pushy and it always seems like a pissing contest with her. I have been nice in the past but we are at a crossroads and feel like she is so erratic i should just cut her off. Why would a girl think that she can do that when the other party does not have a leg to stand on. We said well if you are silent person in the biz then my cousin should be and she said no. So now no one is doing it. Why would she do this?????
