i was earning a basic of over 100k pa+bonus+car, then i whistle blew on my employer and they stopped paying me and changed the locks to my office. i am owed 300k +. they have given no formal notice. they just stopped paying me and refuse to give me a reference. the ramifications of this have left me on sickness benefits.

this happened early last year. bonus was based on overall turnover. one of the biggest firms in the southeast. police investigation was ongoing until last week (now i can get a employment claim forward). drained myself financially over last 16 months.

I have to ask 100,000 WHAT? If UK pounds, then it was a salary either designed to keep you quiet or one which you actually earned by virtue of experience, qualifications or risk involved.

You claim you are owed 3 years salary? Please pull the other one, it has bells on!

Let's face it, you were in a dodgy business that you were attracted to because of the pay and benefits and you knew it was dodgy from the start - you must have done, because anyone offered that kind of salary knows darned well why they are being paid it (and if they don't, then they have no business accepting it).

If you know your stuff and are worth that amount, then you should know the bolt holes. Yahoo!Answers will give you short shrift, that's for sure. Most people on here would be happy to be paid a tenth of what you say your salary was.

Shall I arrange for Mantovani to call now or later?

I was on 100k pa, anyone know of a good legal aid employment lawyer?

You can not get legal aid on this tiny salary. To get it, you must earn at least a quarter of a million. See you CAB to give you a list of decent employers who will pay you a decent salary so you can get a legal aid.
