How long does it take to heal? Does it get infected easier than other piercings? Is it difficult to speak or eat? Does it get in the way? Any other information on lip piercings would be appreciated. =)

I have had my tattoos for a few years, but I still like to just sit and look at them. My boyfriend laughs at me, but sometimes I just like to sit and stare at my tattoos I like them so much. Anyone else? Or am I a freak?

They're so disgustingly trashy..every girl has the same F-in tattoo...it's either a tribal...or Kanji...or stars..or some random words. I don't get it...They're horrendous.

Im not quite sure how tattoos work, but i would think, even though the ink is driven fairly deep into the skin, the bottom-most layer of flesh with ink in it would eventually reach the surface (since we ARE constantly shedding dead skin cells). so what causes a tattoo to be so permanent that that doesn't happen?

i heard alot of ppl say turmeric powder mixed with lemon juice really lightens skin color but i tried that and my face turned yellow like really really yellow i had to scrub it off with A LOT of soup kinda scared me at first lol i thought it wouldn't come of for days. I am natural medium tanned so ya turmeric powder really works?

Small tat, not noticeable, meaningful, trashy or not? OK i used to go to this store close to my place to pick up my supplies, it was rather cheap but good quality, they closed down about 2 weeks ago and i don't want to drive 4 hours to the city to try to find another place. does anybody know where i can get good quality low priced stuff online, i'm looking to buy my apprientice a gun and i need more supplies for my shop where can i go and get this done in one stop online, any sites would be great. please only pros i already searched on yahoo and could not find much but british sites and i need us sites thanks

I am planning on getting a tattoo, but the area of my body on which I plan to get it is heavily scarred in places due to a mis-spent youth. I was just wondering: a) is it possible to tattoo over scar tissue? & b) does the scarring adversely affect the look of the tattoo in any way?

I am stopping using a harsh wash and starting a mild cleansing one. im am using a moisturizer (clean & clear oil free dual action moisturizer) witch treats and helps prevent pimples. but my skin still looks redish on my checks and my pores look big. any advice?

im 16 years old and i really want to get my nose peirced, just a little stud. i talked to my mom about it and told her that i would even pay for the whole thing. she hasnt given me an answer for like 2 months and i really wanna get it done.i told her that if she doesnt like it after i get it done then i would just take it out,and i told her she can watch the person peirce my nose and stuff. ive been giving her all these options to make her decision easier but idk if its working. she always asks "what if it gets infected...blahblahblah" and she even called the peircing place and asked them questions about it,and they said it would be fine. i ask her if i we can go every few weeks and she still says "she's on the fence about it"
my dad would probably be ok w/ it if she was but i want to get it done soon!!
any adivce on how i can convince her more?!

I need to know if this really works. Well my sisters face is always so acne free. Well I asked her how she made her skin look that wya. She told me she puts a wet cloth into the microwave until it got reallllyy hot. Then she applied it onto her face then after she was done with that she put alcohol on her acne places. Then the next day they were gone! Is this a way that actually works?

and I'm thinking of taking my son with me. He's 13. I wouldn't allow him to get a tattoo at this early age, just so all of you know. I have 11 tattoos and I'm going in for a large forearm piece. My question is, do you think it's a good idea to let him come with me, am I impressioning him in a way that I shouldn't? I love all of my tattoos but I don't want him to think I am pushing anything on him. I just thought he'd think it was a cool thing to check out. what do you think?
