If the homemade remedies aren't helping then let nature with a little science help you. BeautiControl has two lines that deal with oil in the skin.
Skinlogics (for under 30 skin, includes: cleanser, toner, scrub & moisturizer)
All Clear (for acne prone skin, includes: cleansing gel, solution, scrub & moisturizer.
Depending on your age, maybe a chemical peel would be a likely addition. And, of course you should always be wearing a broad spectrum sunscreen.
There are always cosmetics to help in that area as well. But, a good skin care regimen is where I would start.

Maybe it's time to get out of the household products. What you need to do is twice a day you need to cleanse, tone, and moisturize. Cleansing washes your OIL off of your face, makeup buildup, dirt and other debris. You also need to tone because toning closes your pores and the larger your pores are the more oil will get out to the surface attracting dirt and clogging your pores. well... the only thing that I know to get rid of oily skin on my face is baking utinsels. I forgot what it's called but it's something for baking. But you have to get thin ones, they're mostly at like a stock market or an asian market.

When you have oily skin, it is actually "dry" skin just over compensating the oils needed to hydrate it. What I suggest is getting a good Hydrating face wash, and a good moisturizer. I have had really good results with Arbonne's products. If you would be interested, I could help you get these products delivered to you, with a good discount. Hope this helps. Let me know!

Wash your face with soap only twice a day (in the morning & evening). In addition to that, whenever you feel oily with your skin, just rinse your face with clear water, which may help.

first of all stop eating oily food and drink a lot of water daily. you should apply a pest of turmeric and besan on your face and can use an oil control face wash daily.. again and again i will suggest you stop eating oily food and drink 8-9 glasses of water in a day. go for a morning walk and keep a cotton with you every time to remove excess oil from your face because oil may cause of pimples i must say.
