I have had my tattoos for a few years, but I still like to just sit and look at them. My boyfriend laughs at me, but sometimes I just like to sit and stare at my tattoos I like them so much. Anyone else? Or am I a freak?

Believe me...when i read your question i was like...OMG, is this girl like reading my mind or something. For me...it's not just tatoos..it's a whole bunch of things. I have a tatoo on my arm and whenever i am wearing a short sleeve shirt or at home, and sit and look at it, and examine each of the parts closely. I love how it looks and how so creatively it was made. I thought i was wierd too until i read your question...but seriously...were you like reading my mind when you wrote this? JK
It's not wierd at all...so dont listen to anyone that tells you it is.

Yay, wierd people unite!!! But no, really, you're not wierd, it just means you love your ink, and you should!! I do the same thing, it just sucks because my two biggest and most beautiful tattoos are on my back so they aren't the easiest for me to admire, so everytime I'm undressed in the bathroom i'm doing the double mirror thing to look at them. Yes my husband laughs at me, too, but I don't mind. I got these tattoos for me, so I should enjoy them, right? So if you're a freak, than I am too!

Oh, no, that's not weird at all. :) I do the same thing. Mine's on my back though, so I walk around in tank tops and everytime I'm around a mirror, I catch a glance at it. My boyfriend got his the same time I got mine, and he stares at his too (which is on his shoulder blade.) So, I guess I never found it weird because we both do it.
But, it also shows all those tattoo haters that people do pick out tattoo that they'll love forever. :)

I do that all the time. It's like I'm lost in the design and the color and the shape and the words and all of it. I just sit and stare and think and dream .
I don't think that's wierd at all but I don't think I do it when people are around cause I know it may look real freaky to watch somebody do that but we know why we do and they don't so it dosen't even matter what they think.

I remember with my first tattoo, I kept forgetting it was there, and it used to make me jump when I caught sight of it...

I still look at mine, and lotion them every day to make the color jump out better. The hardest one for me is the one on my back, so after I get out of the shower, I admire it before getting dressed, and my husband laughs at me every time he catches me. So if you are wierd I am too! You paid for the artwork, and artwork is meant to be looked at, just remember that. If you bought a painting and hung it on your wall you would look at it, so I don't think tatts are that different.

You're not weird Cassie, I look at my tattoos whenever I am near a mirror. Isn't that the point of getting art.....admiring it.

it doesn't sound weird. i don't have a tattoo but to me it sounds like you are happy with the tattoo you got and that's good because if your not happy, it is hard to get them off.
