Small tat, not noticeable, meaningful, trashy or not? Like would you care if you found out the girl you were dating had a small tat, you didnt see it at first but maybe eventually you noticed it...would it change your opinion of her and what are the stigmas attached to small inconspicuous tats on women (young not old) lol

I would certainly have very little respect for someone whose opinion of me was changed on learning that I had tattoos. (Although it'd be hard not to notice mine!) My view of it is that life is filled with unexpected occurences; if they can't even deal with a tattoo, and go all 'ewww, but I don't like it' as if it's the end of the world, how the hell would they cope if I were, for example, to be disabled or disfigured in an accident, or to be taken seriously ill?
The much touted argument of 'tattoos will look gross when you're older' cuts no ice with me, either. Anyone who says that is basically saying, in effect, that being old and wrinkly is gross in itself and, guess what? I am actually going to age anyway. And I wouldn't want to be with anyone who had such a big problem with that idea.

Speaking from a woman's point of view---if you want a tat, get one. Just get one you'll still like when you get older. I stressed over this for a while, then I finally got one and I have never regretted it. Even my husband, who doesn't normally like tatoos on women, likes mine because it's small, inconspicuous, and it fits right in with my personality. Get one that fits who you are and your man should accept it as a part of you.

If someone would suddenly dislike you because of a tattoo, it shows you what kind of person they really are.
Big or small, tattoos are not that big of a deal and to good hearted people, it won't matter. Only shallow, close minded people freak out over tattoos.

I think that it shouldn't bother you. Not trashy at all. I think that if it means something to her (as it obviously does or she wouldn't have put it permanently on her body) then it isn't deemed trashy to her and really shouldn't be to anyone who comes in contact with it.

If you really want it then go for it! Don't let a person (that u haven't even met yet) control what you want. If he doesn't like it enough to have second thoughts, you r way to good for him! (besides, most guys find tattoos sexy!) Go for it, for sure!

If you got it and ended up dateing some guy who ended up seeing it and didn't like it...then F*CK HIM!!! If you wan it and it's meaningful to you...then who cares what some guy has to say!!!

I think tattoos look trashy on a woman and once youve got it, you've got it for life. So even when your old you'll still have em. But its up to you.. if you want one go for it!
