Skin & Body - November 2006

I’m not sure what to do.
It’s like this somewhat painful bump on my cheek but it doesn’t really look like anything else...it’s not red, I don’t know how to describe it (not that you want to know :0 ...)...it’s just like a bump on my cheek that is painful when I touch it but otherwise there is like nothing else to it...my skin looks normal on top of the thing... not like I see people get that are red with nasty head things...
What should I do about it?

I was bitten by a mosquito on my tattoo last night and I must have been scratching it last night in bed, when I woke up the area is red raw, and my tattoo looks irritated as its less than a month old. The art of tattooing and the practice of body piercing have been around for centuries. Why now are they being called a trend?

In more recent years they have become more popular than ever but that doesn't change the fact that tattooing and body piercing have been a part of history for many cultures for many many years.

I do not believe these are mere trends destined to die out but the bringing back of ancient customs. As more people have these modifications done I can only hope the practices themselves will become more widely accepted and even considered "normal."

6 days ago i gave myself a tattoo with ink and a sewing needle. its just a little tiny outline of a star on the inside of my hip. it is still a little red and swolen. it doesn't hurt that bad but, if it is infected, what do i do?

Hey people!!! I am a full time student so i don't usually get a an 8 hour sleep!!! I sleep late at night and have to wake up early. I guess that's why i have dark cricles. I have almost always had this probelm even in vacations 'cos well i am usually up late nights. what should i do??? Is there a way other than going to bed early to keep the dark circles at bay!!! Im 16, and when i get home from school, im really tired and wanna just lay around and then i get bored, and when im bored i eat. Im trying to lose a little bit of weight.
