Avocados! first buy a nice soft avacado... cut it in half and mush it, them smear it on your clean face... leave it on until it gets hard and turns an ugly dark green color... then wash it off with warm water... pat dry... get a lime, not lemon and cut in half... smear it on face, softly... you should feel a cleansing relief, very refreshing... then wash off with warm water after it has soaked and dried your enlarged pores. you will smell good, limey fresh and have smooth soft small pores, the 3 S treatment that works wonders...

I do know this and its a home remedy and doesn't cost you hardly anything. The best way is to get a natural, unadulterated oil, a good organic is even better. Start a daily or every other day routine, preferably at night, of massaging all of the face quite vigorously (but not too vigorously at the beginning - as the skin has to adjust, and treatment might cause some reaction -mainly poisons coming to surface be expelled. So if that happens you might want to modify the schedule. But gradually build up to more vigorous massaging say, 10 to15 min or more a session, particularly focusing on enlarged pore areas. You will notice in about two or three weeks very noticeable results and if there any other blemishes or spots they will have diminished also and in time they too will completely vanish and the skin will have developed a lovely, healthy tone. I have seen this treatment produce remarkable results. You will find others commenting to you about how much better - and how much younger- you are looking. It's important that you build up to quite vigorous massaging. After the treatment you can tissue off excess oil using water.or some mild cleaner.

The SUN! Not too much cuz of the ultra violet rays! Put on a little chap stick and dont get burned. But sun is the best thing for tightening up big pores. Use Moisturizing DIAL soap often with a washcloth and rinse with clean hands & warm water, pat dry and put vaseline on & dab around eyes and mouth. Then U will be simply beautiful Dah-ling!

The "pore minimizing" products don't really work--pores are not muscles and cannot shrink. Any shrinkage from those products is from skin dehydration which is NOt good. the best way to keep them from looking huge is to keep them clean--cleanse twice a day, exfoliate a few times a week, do a deep cleaning mask a few times a week. Always wash off all makeup and sleep on clean sheets/pillow cases too.

Unfortunately, anything that you do is temporary, Remember that your body is dynamic, always changing, producing, breaking down, etc. This means that anything that you do (use toners, witch hazel, egg whites, etc) will only tighten them up for a couple hours, at best. BTW, what makes your pores "tighten" up with many products is swelling. The product (like alcohol, witch hazel, etc) will irritate your skin to the point that it swells up and causes the pores to shut (temporarily, of course). This means that you will have to constantly be applying, washing, checking, etc. Also don't wear liquid makeup or powder! Nothing to clog the pores, which will make them want to open further!
I hate to be such a downer, but we all have some flaw about ourselves.

There are a lot of good suggestions here!
I liked a pore minimizing cream by Neutrogena (~$12)
It helped mine alot. Sometimes using cold water on your face after cleaning can help as well!

Minimize Your Pores
Your Daily Regimen: Folow these steps in the morning to make pores look smaller. (Do your usual cleaning at night.)
step 1: CLEANSE
LOOK FOR an oil-free, deep-cleansing wash to remove dirt and oil. Keeping pores clean will prevent them from getting bigger.
step 2: SCRUB
LOOK FOR a scrub that has salicylic acid to loosen the deep layers of dead skin and oil that can stretch out your pores.
step 3: PROTECT
LOOK FOR SPF 30 lotion to protect skin from the sun (its rays break down collagen, which can make pores bigger over time).
step 4: MATTIFY
LOOK FOR a mattifying gel with salicylic acid to soak up oil so it won't sit in your pores. The gel disguises large pores too!
FYI: It will take three months to notice a difference in your skin, so be patient and stick with the regimen.
another neat trick is by putting an ice cube on your pores. itll minimize it and its relaxing too. its temporary though. but doesnt hurt to try.

Check out this home remedy: http://beauty-tricks.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&Itemid=99999999&id=259
It takes time. Also, try doing some moisture mask to your skin once/ twice per week.
