My beloved talked me into doing mine for the first time last night. It just never occurred to me--Mom always told me, pits and legs, not arms, and besides, I've got blond body hair on tanned skin. Feels drafty, and I'm all self-conscious because people have commented. So I'm just wondering how common it is.

I work in an office where on average at the moment it is 30 degrees. The swelling starts in my feet at around lunchtime then works its way up my legs and by now I can't get my shoes back on, my ankles are huge and my knees are all puffy and sore. Does anyone have any bright ideas on how to stop this? Help! I wore a skirt today and have to walk home with freakishly huge ankles etc!!!
