The answer is quite simply - NO. Developing your pectorals(chest muscles) won't make your breasts smaller. Many of you would have heard this tale countless number of times, but let me tell you now that this is yet another myth about women's weight training/female bodybuilding that just does not seem to go away!

Yes, strength training has an overall toning effect, however - if you're dieting and you lose a significant amount of body fat, THEN you will reduce breast size (but of course, this decrease will also be proportionate to the fat loss from your entire body). So if you lose weight and end up with smaller breasts.. its because thats how you truly were meant to look like.. and there's nothing wrong with that. So blame the shrinkage on your diet/weightloss routine, don’t blame the exercise.

Muscle and fat are very different types of tissue and we cannot turn one into the other, and women’s breasts are mostly fatty tissue. Your breasts won't actually get bigger, but what is actually happening when you perform the right chest exercises is that you would tone the muscle underneath the breast tissue, and this will cause your chest to 'appear' to be bigger. Therefore, it is impossible to actually increase breast size through weight training but what you're able to do is to only create an 'appearance' of bigger breasts. Isn't that good enough?

Truth is, if you go below 12% body fat (which you shouldnt be unless you're a competing female bodybuilder, etc), your breast size WILL decrease.. so don't be surprised when that happens. If it’s still bigger breasts you want.. then the only solution for you is to either gain fat or get breast implants.

Don’t wear turtle-necked or round-necked (high) tops. They tend to widen the gap between your neck and breasts, so it looks as though your breasts are low and large. Tight turtle-neck sweaters do the same. Instead, opt for tops with V-necks or with low round necks. These tops make your breasts look a little smaller.

Stay away from shirts or tops with pockets on the chest. They will enhance your breasts, making them look bigger.

Go in for sports bras. They tend to flatten breasts and also reduce the bounce, so if you are really large you may find these a comfortable option. Minimiser bras are also available in markets abroad, so if you have a relative flying down from the States, make sure you add this to your list!

Don’t wear crop tops that cut off at the stomach. These make breasts look bigger. Make sure that your tops reach upto your jeans, or just a little above.

Shiny tops enhance your upper half, so stay away from the glitter and the gleam!

While prints do enhance your top, they tend to draw attention away from your bustline itself, as people will tend to focus on the print. So go in for printed clothes, though make sure the print is not too loud. Pretty paisley prints work great.

Basic tight halter-tops with built in bras tend to make you look a little flatter if you wear them under a shirt or a jacket. As these halters have a built-in bra, you needn’t wear another one.

Stay away from tight t-shirts, they only enhance the shape of your breasts. If you do like tight tops, go in for those with low necks, and with vertical stripes. No horizontal stripes for you.

Go for wrap-over tops. They take attention away from the breasts, and conceal their largeness without taking away from the shape. Wear a tube under a chiffon printed wrap-over top, and you’re all set!

Hi,
I am Areana from Germany and 2 years back I was hopeless as you are now. Breast is one of the most imp part of a girls's life. Few years back I was like having a flattened chest. It was always a matter of dis-appointment when I see a good looking boy dating a good figures girl. I felt jealous.

After a hell lot of trying trying and trying various pills and creams I found a precisely what I was looking for years. I paid only the handling charge for the first bottle so I bought it as this was cheap as hell @ https://tr.im/4NfLQ I almost feel like I have a new lease on life. There is nothing quite like feeling perfectly comfortable in your own skin again.

Cheers! Hope you will attain your self esteemed back :)

Maybe a good sport bra and no low necklines could help. Were you favorite sweater and go on shopping for a nice bra, they sure don't give us all the same figure! Exercise can be good but on some women it makes there breast look bigger but they'd be in good shape ;-)

Sounds fine to me, mate, listen, I'd love to be that short, I'm 5'7 and a 34A, which is not a very good thing. I look like a scarecrow with odd little bits of fat sticking out all over the place. Of course you feel insecure! What did you think you'd be, perfect!! Wow that sounds harsh. AHEM. Everyone is different, and you have a dude, look at the random africans who are dying of aids and can't even get water. :D Feel better?

Wear a minimizer bra and exercise your shoulders and back...they should shrink some. The same exercises that people would use th firm their breast and surrounding muscles would work for you as well.
