My beloved talked me into doing mine for the first time last night. It just never occurred to me--Mom always told me, pits and legs, not arms, and besides, I've got blond body hair on tanned skin. Feels drafty, and I'm all self-conscious because people have commented. So I'm just wondering how common it is.

I have been doing this for years and have tried to stop but then I find I prefer the way it feels when it is clean and smooth - I think it not only feels better but looks better as well....

Of course its a preference to each person - what is right for one may not be right for the other.

i do not think it is extraordinary in any respect and now no longer all women have smooth blond arm hair that is less significant. notwithstanding you may want to keep in mind that shaving your hands is a dedication, because of the shown actuality that you'll favor to shave it each few days. I to discover my arm hair takes a lot less time to advance again in than my leg hair, so that is a fantastic ingredient. If it bothers you, then shave it. It would not take an undesirable very lengthy time period to do, and once you do it wisely (being careful in the course of the wrist bone section and the elbow) then you shouldn't shrink your self up.

I'm a morena as the Spanish would say (dark-haired girl) and like to have smooth arms so yes I do it! But considering that you're blond, meaning that you have the natural advantage of having unoticeable body hair, I don't see much of the point... but I guess it could be for clean smoothness that you partner desires it. So, go ahead! You don't even have to go all the way up to the shoulder if you don't want to! Hope this helps! :)

I have been shaving my arms for some time now. I have blond hair but it's long and it would stick up like an inch and it was annoying. I like the way it looks now better then with the hair. My sister has blond hair also but the hair on her arms is short and if mine was like that I don't think I would bother shaving it she doesn't. If your hair is long keep it off it looks better but if its short don't bother.

Shave your arms, are you nuts? Do you like the feel of stubble on your arms? Your beloved is an idiot, if he cant accept you the way you are, you should dump his hairless-loving butt. Next thing you know, he'll want you to pluck your eyelashes, dig out all your nosehairs, etc. You got a nutjob with a hairless fetish, lose him, the scissers and the razors.

No...I don't shave my arms because I wouldn't want the hair to grow back coarse (the way id does on your legs). Alot of people have their arms waxed (alot cheaper than laser hair removal), because its effective for about 6 weeks and the regrowth is soft and hard to detect. Never listen to a man; what the heck do they really know about female issues! :)

I never have. I've been blessed with transparent hair on my arms. Even when tanned, it really doesn't show at all. It has no color to speak of.

So, no, I've never done that...nor would I. The hair on your arms is there for a reason! It helps keep your arms warm, protects the skin on your arms and help wick away moisture when you sweat.

My partner talked me out of shaving my arms because my arm hair is really blonde! It's not that common but I would not have done it, you'll have to keep doing it to avoid stubble. Tell your 'beloved' that he too has to shave certain areas.

I've seen people that do that, but i think its more common to go with the hair. it didn't become popular until recently and personally i think people shouldn't care about hairy arms. pits and legs, yes, but not arms.

I always thought the only people who shave their arms are speed swimmers. I don't think it's necessary if you have blonde arm hair.
