I would recommend she use Arbnne clear advantage ... these products are pure safe and beneficial and you will see results in as little as 2 weeks... and the results are not superficial they really are treating the acne from inside, you see arbonne products are formulatted without mineral oil and withou animal products.... mineral oil is the 2nd worse thing you could do to your skin the 1st is the sun .... also, animal products come from dead animals and the people who pick them up work in rendering plants and here is where the problem starts .... you see, they pick all dead animals and put them in a huge pot and squash everything inside and boil it ... the oil that come to the top is what other companies use to formulate their "beauty" products..... eww gross i know, anyway also your sister should avoid using benzoyl peroxide for it is too strong and will overdry her skin .... arbonne's products are formulatted with salicylic acid which is more natural and less chemicals.... anyway visit their site http://arbonnepuertorico.myarbonne.com and you could read more info and buy online, i buy online and never had a problem.... the best thing is that you could have your money back if this does not work.... so there is nothing to loose, only acne;~)

Here are some REALLY good, and very inexpensive ways to treat most acne at home. Try each method (unless you’re allergic to the ingredients) until you find one that works best for you. Good luck =) BTW, I know some of these may sound bizarre but try them…what have you got to lose other than the acne!!
1. Put toothpaste on your acne before going to bed. (Make sure it is paste not gel). It should reduce the swelling of acne noticeably.
2. Dab egg whites on your acne and leave on for 20 minutes or overnight. It’s supposed to pull the infection out of the blemish.
3. Wash acne infected areas twice a day with warm salt water. This reduces oils in the skin and helps to dry the acne up without further agitation.
4. Use ice on acne before going to bed. This works best on pimples that have not yet formed a head. It reduces swelling and helps to prevent scarring.
5. Wash and dab acne with cotton balls that have been soaked in vinegar. Let dry; do not wash off immediately.
6. Place strawberries leaves over your acne and the alkalinity will help to reduce the swelling.

If you’re looking for accurate acne information, best to see a dermatologist. Some people believe doctors are predisposed to take the easy way to deal with acne… prescription drugs. But, with many, this simplistic answer may not be the appropriate course of action. Some feel that such prescription drugs just treat the symposium and not the underlying cause. But, a local dermatologist is still your best starting point.
For me personally, I discovered a great informational acne treatment site. Not only is there good information/articles but I got their audio e-book and following it’s advice can now say that my acne is a thing of the past! Keep in mind, were all different and there are various types of acne, so what works for some may not be totally effective for all.
Bottom line, hang in there, you will get past this! Sincere best wishes and good luck.
Oh, by the way the site that helped me is:

Hey I found a great product at Wal-Mart for my son, it really works, costs less than $10(1 month supply), and has no harsh chemicals or meds. It is called Nature's Cure by Neutrogena. They have a formula for males or females. I had taken my son to 4 doctors and recieved expensive prescriptions, all which were a waste of money. All they ever did was make his skin irritated, which made the acne stand out even worse. One day while in Wal-Mart I saw this new product and decided it was a worth a try. My son started it that night, within three days you could actually see the acne clearing up and no new blemishes were forming. After two weeks my son's skin(not just his face) was completely acne free and as long as he stays on this product it stays that way. It consists of 30 pills for day, 30 pills for nights, and a tube of cream. You chew 1 pill in the am, 1 in the pm, and use the cream 2-3 times daily. It's all homeopathic formula has no side effects and is perfectly safe for all ages(my 12 yr old is now taking it). I even had my family doctor check it out and guess what, he is now referring this to other patients, and actually keeps a few boxes in his office for samples. Take a look at their website and see for yourself; www.naturescure.com
This site will also help you find the stores in your state that sells it. You definitely get your money's worth. I keep 3-4 on hand at all times just to make sure they never run out.

acne
common inflammatory disease of the hair follicles and sebaceous glands characterized by blackheads, whiteheads, pustules, nodules and, in the more severe forms, by cysts and scarring. The lesions appear on the face, neck, back, chest, and arms. There are several types of acne, including tropical acne, a condition of light-skinned people who are exposed to unaccustomed heat and humidity, and chloracne, a form resulting from exposure to chlorinated hydrocarbons.
The most common type is acne vulgaris, a form prevalent among adolescents. Although its exact cause is not known, it is undoubtedly related both to genetic predisposition and to the increased hormonal activity that occurs at puberty, which causes an overproduction of sebum, the oily secretion of the sebaceous glands. Exposure to external oils and grease (e.g., oil-based cosmetics or hair products, occupational use of cooking oils) can worsen the condition. There is no connection between diet and acne.
Washing the skin removes surface oils and can prevent acne from spreading. The contents of blackheads and pustular lesions should be evacuated only by a physician under proper aseptic conditions to lessen the possibility of scarring. Application of benzoyl peroxide, retinoic acid, azelaic acid, and antibiotics to the skin can clear many cases; exposure to ultraviolet light may also be used. More severe cases of acne may require oral antibiotic treatment. Treatment of the most resistant cases of acne includes the use of isotretinoin (Accutane), a drug that decreases sebaceous secretions. Isotretinoin is a well-established teratogen (i.e., it causes birth defects) and is not given to women who are pregnant. In the past dermabrasion (scraping off of the top layer of skin) was used to improve the appearance of skin scarred by acne, but such severe effects can now be avoided with proper treatment.

Sometime using that ProActive will work. But acne will come back. Go to your doctor and see what they subscribe for her that can work. I am using this acne cream right now. It does work but you have to make sure to also clean and scrub your face everynight. Mostly.
