I have always applied eye liner under my top and bottom lashes, about half way to center, tapering it off the closer I get to the middle. I notice some of my friends aren't applying any eye liner under their bottom lashes. Is that the style now? I don't want to stop putting it there, because my eyes are my best feature and I want to accent them. Without liner under the bottom lashes, my eyes look much smaller.

When I look in a black mirror, for example a framed black poster, and see my reflection, I look amazing. Do you have any way to replicate this using make up, ie. what does the reflection say about what tones suit me best?

I love that smokey eye look, normally i would line just halfway under the eye. For more intensity, i line the whole eye but the liner under the eyes are really hard to remove. I will usually end up with panda eyes the next morning. Anyone knows the best way to remove it gently and effectively? Thanks!

My best friend wants to kind of revamp her style and give herself a bit of a mini makeover. Never really wearing makeup before, she's starting from scratch in the beauty department. She has fair skin, a rosey undertone, blue eyes and light brown hair. What are some colours or certain types of makeup that would be good for her to try?

When I take my nail polish off with remover and a cotton ball it seems like I can never get it completly off. There is always some that sticks around my cuticles. I have even tried the salon quality wipes and remover. Any ideas?

I've always had some trouble picking colors for myself. If you are makeup-savvy, I would appreciate some input.
I have very fair skin, brown eyes and black hair. Essentially... I look just like my avatar.
Brand?
Shade?
Price?
Where I can find it?

Please... something affordable.

I recently got a metal eyelash curler after using a plastic one for some time. A metal one offers me better grip and curls my lashes more, but the problem is, it is hard to align the tool properly against my eye - I end up gripping the skin around my eyes too sometimes, and can't seem to be able to get hold of much eyelashes to curl, especially those on the inner sides of my eyes.
How can I make metal eye lash curlers work for me?
