To combat dark circles you want to use a concealer that has a yellow-ish tint. The yellow will cancel out the purple in the dark circles. Basically, when you have something on your face that you don't like, you go back to art school and look at the color wheel. You want to apply the opposite color as the one you want to nix. For example, for reddish blemishes, you would use a green-based concealer. You should be able to get different shades of concealer at the drug store. Just don't over-do it - with the colored concealers you shouldn't need to use much at all. Hope this helps!

the cucumber method at night works. there is also this creme you can get from your local drugstore called " Vita K" you can use to lighten them.
another thing i would recommend is putting your concealer on after you put your foundation so it doesnt blend away when applying your foundation. of course try to not to get totally different shades cause it will stand out and make you look a little washed out

Nowadays, they have make-up especially for under your eyes. It comes in like a lip stick type shape, but its for under your eyes, works great, try to get it at any drug store, or personally I like Wal-Mart, they have the best prices.
