I suggest buying a different brand of shadow. Do not buy any shadows with Talc as the first ingredient. Remember talc is what is in baby powder and will crease, look chalky and rub off quickly. It may take a bit of time in the beauty store to find, but trust me your time will be worth it.

If you have the talc laden shadow in your bathroom already no worries. Make sure you moisturize and apply your liquid foundation on your eyelids. Then apply your eyeshadow. This should help. You can also wet the shadow (will give a deeper color) and then apply.

Hope it works out for you.

If you use a damp eyeshadow brush and apply a layer of face powder to your lids and allow to set, the shadow will stay in place for the day.

Takes an extra second or so but the effort is well worth it.

Create a base for the eyeshadow by applying a light layer of your foundation over the entire lid and brow bone. This will give your shadow something to which it can adhere and stay on longer. Hope this helps! =^..^=

Put some foundation on your eyelids, not very much at all and it helps if it is a good line. I use Mary Kay and my eyeshadow stays on all day and most of the evening.

Try Mary Kay's Eye Primer. It is put on your eyelid before make-up and extends the wear of your eyeshadow. it also prevents creasing and decreases the oil on your lid. It is a fabulous product! I used to do a light layer of foundation on my eyelids, but this works better.

What I do is take a little lipgloss on my finger and apply it to my eyelids then apply my eyeshadow. It works, it doesn't wear off as fast. If you use to much lipgloss your eyeshadow will look thick and clumpy.

ok everyone that saying oh it depends on what brand you buy or whatever that doesn't matter. if you want your eyeshadow to stick you need to buy a base. what the base does is it makes the shadow or eye liner to stick and trust me in wont come off until you wash it off. The one that i would recommend is MAC. theirs different color bases for every shadow that their is. Good Luck
